snow snow snow

well we thought it wouldnt come. we flew back in from sunny california late sunday night and were amazed on how gorgeous seattle looked from above, covered with just an inch of snow. today it really hit. we got at least 4 inches of snow overnight and it has been snowing all day. couldnt make it to work – roads are too rough to drive on. so the husband and i decided maybe lets try out the roads- at about noon today we did- didnt go very far. just about cleaning and warming up the car up from all the snow is how far we went.

heres my handsome man trying to clean it off. after deciding that it would be safer just to leave the car there, we walked to starbucks and enjoyed a hot cup of joe.

after a little more circles around the neighborhood and freezing our toes off we decided to head home. i went out to our balcony and decided to snap some photos of our snowy seattle.

after i was just about done freezing my butt off on the balcony and be on my way to the house i looked down at our car and saw this pretty heart. couldnt resist taking a picture.

sneak peak

i thought id share couple photos from my weekend. just a couple. in a random order. my beauty- this weekend was hers! [and andreys of course] love you dear!!

happy new year + picture [sunday]

happy new year to all! people usually have a whole speech prepared when writing things like this but this is all i got hahah :) happy new year- hope yours is amazing!

so i attempted this about 1 year ago- doing my 6 things [friday] and trying to post my favorite 6 things that i hae found every friday. i think it worked for about 2 months- if that haha. i think i have a problem with commitment –to do something that i set a goal for. i will try much harder to do this now.

so this is what this is– every sunday i will post my favorite photo of the week or month or just anything. it could be anything or anyone and this will be a photo taken by me.

heres one for this sunday- it has a long story behing it- and i will share it with you possibly next weekend. :) for now enjoy this :)

Eliana [baby shoot]

i got to photograph this little cutie several weeks ago. she was a trooper. i think we went on for about 5 hours and she didnt not make a beep. untill she got hungry. enjoy this little munchkin!

Anna & Daniel [kiddos photoshoot]

i got a chance to photograph these two adorable kiddos last week. anna is full on energy and daniel is just cute a button.

Mr and Mrs Globe Trot

this is possibly my favorite blog of all time. this blog is written by julia & yuriy manchik-photographers based out of seattle. to read their story of traveling - visit their blog. its beyong amaing. they have been to many increadible places. (yes im a little jealous). their photos are amazing. i absolutly love reading their blog.

if you are planning on traveling this is a great blog to read-they give you plently of tips on what to bring and what places to visit.

i think i can be adding and adding more and more pictures to this post-the are so many beautiful places they’ve visited-its amazing. visit their blog and check it out! its quite increadible what they have seen!

Seattle Auto Show [2010]

this is fairly manly of me probably. but i love car shows. i think this rubbed off on my from my husband because he knows sooo much about cars and always talking to me about them. oh and he gets magazines like mototrend and automobile so i do get an occasional read when i have time. the year we got married, he took me to my first car show back in 2008. i absolutly loved it.

this year at the show, porsche had their newest 4 door sedan-panamera. this thing is an absolute beauty.

there were many more beautiful cars but i felt the need to share this one with you..

Space Needle

i thought today id share something that me and the hubs did a while ago. we (washingtonians) never go up to the space needle. and i mean never. ive been living here for a little over 7 years now and this probably my 3rd or 4th time. first time was of course, when we moved here-space needle was the place to see. and whenever we would have guests out-of-state come and visit, space needle is the tourist spot. well this was no occasion-no guests, nothing-we decided to just go up. here is some scenery from up above aprox 605 ft.

there was this cool touch screen monitor on top which allowed you to zoom in and out on sertain parts of seattle as well as had a 360 view of everything from space needle. and it would make fun cartoon animations.

and space needle has a pretty awesome gift shop.

Ksenia [3 years old]

i got to take pictures of my little baby sister the other weekend. she turned 3 last month. she is such a cutie. so big and so addorable.

today is halloween. dont celebrate it, never done anything for it but yesterday, with some friends, we decided to carve some pumpkins. my first time. it was a BLAST. here is mine and carlys work. (mine on the left and carlys on the right)

a wonderful weekend

ahh. after such a crazy week at work it felt good to relax this weekend. couple weeks back my hubby bought a project jet boat. we finally took it out this weekend. its not fixed yet or anything but we got whole winter for that. :) anyway. i though id share alittle bit of the fun that we had.

weather this week has been better. i hope it continues. no rain = me happy. :) im not a fan of rain so i am not looking forward to this season. hopefully we’re gonna have a warm one. :)

we freed our glee at the puyallup fair

Zorianna

Great news, we are now back on track! Looks like the updates are done and we are back in business!

I want you to meet Zorianna. Young, vibrant, absolutely gorgeous graduate who is also my awesome sister-in-law. She didnt get a chance to take pictures before her actual graduation so I offered to take some for her as in a belated senior photoshoot. These turned out beautiful! Love you sis and once again-congratulations. We are all so very much proud of you!

Bite Of Seattle

Every summer Seattle holds an event called Bite of Seattle which is a Food Festival. A lot of different restaurants and many different vendors are at this event offering their food and products. Although I have heard of this event before, this year is the first year we went.  Joining us on this beautiful day was my husbands brother and his beautiful family as well as my sister in law and her boyfriend. We had lots of fun.

And of course they had the Foster Farm Plumper Chickens.

and their pimped out ride :))

Day at the Park

I got a chance to shoot my little cutie the other day. Baby Sister is gonna turn 3 in September. So we took her down to the community park for little fun.

The unforgettables. [part 1]

The trip to California was a complete success. Except for the part where our car broke down and we were stranded 18 miles away from Salem and had to wait for a towing truck to show up for 3 hours.

But it was really worth all the trouble. We arrived there Friday morning and after a yummy lunch prepared by my wonderful aunt Valentina and my dearest cousin Nella, we headed out to our first and most exciting spot-Six Flags- Vallejo, California.

The weekend was full of fun and excitment. Stay tuned for more.

Ocean View

The husband and I always take a trip to Ocean Shores during the Memorial weekend but unfortunatly the weather wasnt participating with us this year. So last weekend we decided to go (and my sister tagged along with us this time too) and the weather was absolutly gorgeous! It was 75F and the wind was blowing a bit so it wasnt too hot and wasnt too cold-in other words- it was perfect.

We always rent motor bikes from a local rental shops and just go for rides out on the beach. Once we drove out far enough where there wasnt too many people, I pulled out the camera and started snapping away. Enjoy!

The sun was shining beautifully [as you can see]
